What was your bad experience at the movies?

6

I went to the movies today to see the new Harry Potter movie and it always seem like I find seats next to the worse people. This wonderful person talked on the phone and kept eating cheetos…. they stunk SO bad, and of course those kind of people ALWAYS state the obvious OUT LOUD. You know, cause everybody gives a rats butt about what you see, like we're not watching the same movie? Talking….shoveling food in their ugly face

I just dont understand why people are so inconsiderate of other people, yeah i understand that you paid to watch the movie too but how would you feel when you're trying to watch and i'm eating chips and talking on the phone next to you?

What are yalls bad movie experiences? let me know what movie, if you remember

AMAZING! The exact same thing happened to me, I mean the exact nothing different thing happened to me, good thing they were like one seat farther away from than they seemed to be to you.

I hate it when someone has drowned themselves in perfume or cologne and the smell just makes me sick and I cannot enjoy the movie.
When I was at the movie Brothers Grim, the person behind me kept kicking my chair. I asked them to stop but they would just laugh or ignore me. I wanted to move but there was no where else to move to that I wanted to be seated at to watch the movie and besides I was seated first, so they should move!!!
And I hate people with kids who do not make the behave like normal obedient children!!
And I also hate people who eat like cattle at the movies. And the ones who eat continuously like they have not eaten in days.
They also are the ones who chew with their mouths open and chew very loudly. Almost every time we go to the movies, something like this happens. That is why we usually wait until the newness of the film wears off or just wait until it comes out on DVD.

Yes, there have been many enjoyable times: Annoying teenagers constantly flashing their cell phones around, people who have seen the movie before who sit right next to me and exclaim "I love this part!", underage boys throwing popcorn at me and my friend because they were actually trying to hit on us, watching trailers where they say, "…and you'll never guess the surprise, twist ending!" – if it was really a surprise then why did they just give it away?, people bringing little kids to R-rated films and midnight showings (the kids don't bother me; it's their parents!), people entering a fairly empty theatre and planting themselves right in front of me so I couldn't rest my feet on the seat, patrons bringing in pizza/nachos/taco bell (okay the taco bell was actually me). Yes, I am a veteran of crappy times at the movies, and I'm barely 23!

I have two bad experiences from going to the movies. The first one was when my sister and I went to see the movie Beaches. We went to the restroom before the movie, and these women came in and started talking about the same movie we were going to see. They blew the ending for us before we got to see it. I let them have it in a way that I doubt they will soon forget. lol
The next bad experience was when my hubby and I were going to see The Others. There was a person who had stinky gas (yep) and the whole theater got to smell it. It was so disgusting, I wanted to jump up during the movie and point that person out, but I couldn't figure out who it was. I wouldn't have minded embarrassing them at all. They were sitting close to our vicinity, unfortunately, and it was just awful.

well the 3rd time i went to see pirates 3…
there were these 5 maybe.. 11 year old girls.. they were talking all through the previews, so me and my friend got up and told the lady in there who worked there..shes like. ohh okay ill keep my eye on them.. so that really didnt help…lol
so they were kinda talking through the begining of it..we kept turning COMPLETLY around and staring at them… they obviously didnt catch on.. so they were quiet for most of the movie..then all the sudden they start talking again.. one of my friends turned around and was like "SHUT UP"! but yeah that obviously didnt work either. so they were kinda quiet.
but it was still really annoying.. they were obviusly not into the movie at all.

this is my cousins experience..
okay so they went to see Spiderman, this little kid.. like 4 or 5 was sitting behind them.. and every 3mins hes like "daddy look SPIDERMAN!" and his dad didnt even do anything.. he was almost like encouraging him..

then another one from my cousins..
my cousin and her husband went to go see this movie that teens wouldnt be interested in.. these teens sitting 3 rows behind them were like laughing.. and getting up running out of the theater.. coming back in laughing.. so my cousin got up and she went to tell the manager.. he kicked them out right away. lol

yeah i cant believe how inconsiderate some people are.

I'd have to say that my worst experience in a movie theater had to be, when the man from the third back row began chucking his popcorn at me. The man next to me, was talking as if he was at home, with his wife and four boys and they were practically screaming at the screen. Saying such foulness like "My Ass!" when Jack Sparrow is in trouble and men come and tell him he is under-arrest. Some kid in the theater's cellphone rang, and what did this prick do? He answers the damn thing.
"Oh, no that's just a movie." mumblings from the other side of the pone message converstaion starts again like "No, I can talk. I'll see you later tonight right?" murmer…."No I said here, not all the way down there, dammit."
You understand that by now I really wanted to LEAVE THE THEAter

Anyone who worked there, or who saw me that night. Plus the poor movie goers who got stuck listening to all that.
