* Stephen Sommers the director of the good (Deep Rising, The Mummy) and the bad (Van Helsing) has landed the job of directing the live action GI Joe movie. GI Joe was one of the better 80's toy lines (Known as Action Force in the UK) and involved a series of cool military characters fighting a terrorist organization known as Cobra. Ah its a great time to have grown up in the 1980's at the moment and we have the box office success of Transformers to thank for bringing back our most cherished or painful childhood memories.
