AFI's 100 Greatest Films List

0

Hmmm, according to the latest AFI Film List, there have been only 4 "great" films in the last 10 years. Check out a more in-depth article here.

Unbelieveably Titanic has now been placed in the list. I'm more into Randy Gage's assessment of the film. He said, rather memorably…

"James Cameron takes a story about 1500 people who drown in a boat
accident—crafts it into a film designed to appeal to your lack and
limitation programming—and it becomes the highest grossing movie of
all time. He personally makes $200 million dollars—teaching you it’s
spiritual to be poor."

…sharp words I hope you'll agree. Makes you realise that there is really no definitive 100 greatest film list, except of course for my own ;)
