Hey guys,
My name is Jensen Karp and I own Gallery 1988 (www.gallery1988.com). We are going to open an art show on July 17, 2007 that I think would be right up your blog's alley. It's called CRAZY 4 CULT and will feature over 50 young artists reinterpreting classic cult films by creating original paintings. We do something similar every April called I AM 8-BIT, which performs the same treatment to 1980's video games. The show will run until August 10 and our opening reception on July 17 in LA will be hosted and attended by Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier. Should be a lot of fun.
Whatever capacity you feel this show would fit on the site, we'd be into it, as we like what you are doing with the blog. Thanks for your time and we look forward to talking to you.
