Horror Movies
Horror movies that
failed to scare you witless - because you haven't seen them
yet!
- Frailty
Frailty opens with some newspaper headlines following the ‘Gods Hands’ killings. Then moves to the FBI building in Dallas, Texas where Fenton Meeks (Matthew McConaughey) walks in to confess to Agent Wesley Doyle (Powers Boothe) that he knows who the ‘Gods Hands’ killer is
- Fright Night
One of the better teen horrors from the 1980s
- Roadkill (Joy Ride - U.S. Title)
Roadkill is generally overlooked in the late '90s glut of teen horror flicks. Shame because it's one of the best.
- 28 Days Later
28 Days Later is a modern day classic, bringing the zombie genre sprinting into the 21st century. Cillian Murphy is outstanding in this underrated horror flick.
- The Devil's Rejects
The Devil's Rejects is every 14 year old boy and movie geek's dream film. It's scary, excessively violent, funny, has some great performances and the soundtrack is first class.
- Wolf Creek
A truly horrifying debut from a young Australian filmmaker, Wolf Creek is one of the first in the new "horror porn" movement.
- Troll
In no way is the movie Troll (1986) underrated or worth resurrecting in any way, shape or form.
- Bubba Ho-Tep
The story of Bubba Ho-Tep imagines what would have happened if Elvis Presley had lived. It tells a tale of Elvis being fed up with his life and the entourage he felt was bleeding him dry and deciding to switch places with Elvis impersonator Sebastian Haff.
